Marcadier Can-Am Barquette.Mk 2. 1972-75.

Hill climb race car .This version, about 20 of which were built, had its own special chassis, central motor location and adjustable "triangulated" wishbone suspension.

Chassis: Steel tube with riveted aluminium panels.. Fibreglass bodywork. Engine: Renault:various, from 1300cc to 1800cc. Gearbox: Renault 8 or 12 Gordini.

One car was fitted with a Simca JRD engine and a Hewland gearbox for the 1973 Simca Shell Cup, and in 1974 another , a right-hand drive version, was fitted with a Ford Cosworth BDA engine and a Hewland gearbox .
